There is the fluctuation of warp tension when tricot knitting machine is working,particularly the tension changing that the working beam is not synchronized with the spindle can easily cause cross stripe when warp knitting machine is starting and stopping.The cross stripe can directly affect the product quality and is also an important indicator for measuring the performance of the warp knitting machine.In the speed and performance,with certain limitations, To some extent controllers only can reduce the stop marks.So electronic warp let-off system based on embedded controller was established. It has the ability to handle more complex data and achieves requirements of speed and accuracy of real-time on warp knitting machine electronic control, especially solving the problem of tracking control when the machine is stopping and starting.Firstly,the control system status of the knitting machine at home and abroad was analyzed in this paper, introducing the advantages of embedded control design. Then based on ARM(Advanced RISC Machines) and FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array)control system was established and its function and controlling processes were introduced. Besides, hardware circuit was designed and program codes were compiled on this basic of electronic let-off the Structure and composition and control theory. Finally, the control procedures were optimized and some related data was measured in the experimental stage. It obtained the relationship between letting-off and the cross stripe by measuring experimental data.The embedded control system on high-speed warp knitting is studied according to the reason of stop cross stripe.The machine can keep the warp tension stable when it is working at high speed, reducing the stop marks effectively.
