With the sustained rapid economic growth and improvement of people’s livingstandard in China, the quality of products are getting more and more attention from thepublic. Therefore, Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) production enterprises pay moreand more attention to monitoring the production process. The Internet of things technologyas a new technology, has been used in the industry, mainly concentrated in themanufacturing supply chain management, production process monitoring, energymanagement and production safety, etc. TCM production process monitoring application ofInternet of things technology, provided the foundation platform to achieve the tracking ofthe product information and traceability,to improve the quality of TCM products,standardization of enterprise management mode,enhancement enterprise informatizationlevel have a significant effect.In this paper,the research of TCM production process monitoring system based onindustrial Internet of things,combined TCM production process such as extraction,concentration,alcohol precipitation and other operating aspects with industrial IOTtechnology,respectively from TCM production four aspects which includs perceptioncontrol layer,data transport layer,data storage layer,application policymakers layer,to designof the monitoring system in detail.By analyzing the knowledge of the data acquisition,industrial ethernet,database,establishing the same information flow from automation levelto management level,monitoring the whole TCM production process,improved theefficiency and competitiveness of the entire enterprise.In the design and development of the monitoring system,a soft sensor predictionmodel based on least squares support vector machine proposed to slove the problem ofliquid concentration cannot directly through the existing sensor detection in perceptioncontrol layer,the primary variable can be deduced from the auxiliary variables,to estimatethe current material liquid concentration accurately.The TCM manufacturing executionsystem proposed to slove the information island between management and workshop in theapplication policymakers layer,through the programming module connecting the wholeenterprise data.As possible longitudinal data integration, management will be very easyaccess to the underlying real-time data,the management will be easier to make quick and informed decision with that information.
