With the development of university websites, university websites are playing anincreasingly important role for teachers and students. It can be said that the universityteachers and students dependent on Campus sites to work smoothly in large part.However, how is the use of university web site effectiveness, and whether theinformation is complete, students are satisfied or not, and so on.But universitywebsites have not been effective evaluation now. Therefore, it is very necessary toevaluate and analyze for the campus Web site, At home and abroad, there have been aconsiderable number of research about the site index system and methodology, and itis a good foundation for our comprehensive evaluation of the university website.This paper reviews the theoretical results of previous studies. On this basis, wecombined with the actual situation of the University College website features in ourcountry, from the availability, traffic, links, management to built evaluation indexsystem of university website. According to the index system,we selected91"211Project Key Disciplines "universities as sample and used the gray relational analysisand cluster analysis to evaluate the quantitative indicators.We found that currently thewhole university websites level is not high and the gradient in the seventh and eighthaccounted most of the school site.Meanwhile, we analyze the correlation between the score of quantitativeindicators and the total score of the University Ranking, and the correlation ofsub-indexes. We found that the site quantitative score and total score of UniversityRanking is significant correlation, from that we can indirectly certificate the indexsystem which we established is credibility and reliability. In the study, we alse foundthat the external Web Impact Factor and the total number of pages is effectiveness forthe University web site evaluation, and is lack of sufficient basis.
