Through the trial-manufacturing the Indium-module’s Microminiature Diode Pump SolidState Laser(In-MDPSSL) based on the indium’s speciality, the research takes both thestructure design and the optics into account, design the new type of the laser structural modeland try to make the qualified sample. The research also tests the characteristics ofpower-electric current-temperature, the working temperature bandwidth, the beam quality andthe shock resistance and so on, analyses the correlation parameter of the comparative tests,explores the laws of the Indium-module’s effects on the working performance of thediode-laser, in order to provide the evidence for improving the design and the direction of theproduction of the laser. It had been explored the laws of the effects of the Indium-module’ sfine texture change’s on the working performance of the Microminiature Diode Pump SolidState Laser. It had been analysed the method of researching how to improve the shockresistance of the Microminiature Diode Pump Solid State Laser from the aspect of the finetexture. The main results are as follows:(1).The improving technics methods such as controlling the compressive stress on theIndium-module、eliminating optics elements process stained、decreasing the parallel value ofthe light filter’s upper and down face, can eliminate its miscellaneous faculae,the outputlaser’s beam quality can be advanced.(2). The performance of the power-electric current (P-I) of the the Indium-module’sMicrominiature Diode Pumping Solid State Laser is the best at the temperature area of5~50℃, it is mainly shown in the obvious inhibiting effect of the laser samples’ powerabnormality fluctuation;it is mainly shown homologous between the Indium-module’s lasersamples’ power-PDs’ electric current;the undulations of the laser samples’ power passmuster;the Indium-module’s laser samples could emit20mW beam stability between6~45℃.(3).After the Indium-module’s Microminiature Diode Pump Solid State Lasers workingtest, the Indium’s external fine texture shows the distortion of plasticity, increasing itsinterface area and heat exchange area,ameliorating the pumping crystal heat exchangingcapability, reducing the pumping crystal thermal effect, improving the Indium-module’sMicrominiature Diode Pump Solid State Laser’s working capability.(4). With50mW constant power and20~40℃, the most of the the Indium-module’slaser samples’ evenness Pointing Stability is0.16mrad,the average of the Pointing Stability is0.008mrad per degree,the most excursion of the Pointing Stability is below0.17mrad. Itis mainly shown in the obvious the Indium-module’s inhibiting effect of the laser samples’Pointing Stability–Temperature characteristic.(5).The trial-producted Microminiature Diode Pumping Solid State Laser samples canbear the simulation experiment of2m’s shocking. After the shocking experiment of the lasersamples’ falling from2.5-meter high,3of the Indium-module’s laser samples were invalidated, because of the welding ruptured of its interior aluminium alloy parts, theIndium-module’s laser samples could not bear the simulation experiment of2.5m’sshocking. After the shocking experiment of the laser samples’ falling from2.5-meter high, theIndium’s external fine texture shows the distortion of plasticity, the Indium module absorbedin part of the energy during the shocking of the pumping crystal, improving its anti-shockingperformance. There are holes and cracks in the welding line of the machine elements, whichbrings to change the laser samples’crack form work and expanding work, so that it will causethe degradation of the anti-shocking performance of the Microminiature Diode Pumping SolidState Laser samples. Improving the welding quality is one of the key methods of improvingthe anti-shocking performance of the miniature pumping laser.(6). It is doable that the Indium-module replace non-Indium-module (jointing with glue)between the Pump Crystal and the aluminium alloy part, all the key capability characteristicsof the Indium-module’s Microminiature Diode Pump Solid State Lasers were up to grade, itcan reduce the chemical pollution in the process.
