With the domestic cities to promote important traffic junctions regional real-time trafficconditions image monitoring system,road monitoring system has been continuouslyimproved,the number of monitoring devices has been a substantial increase. How to betterprotect the monitoring system to run all equipment in good condition,and timely access toequipment failure information to repair and maintenance? Thishas become a problemcurrently urban road monitoring system managers needs to face.This paper is based in the status quo for road monitoring system of Nanhai District ofFoshan City.The research is according to the actual needs of the Nanhai traffic policeoperation,also based on system science thought as the guiding theory, the system engineeringmethod as a research tool,using Vee model to develop early warning management system ofvideo surveillance equipment., we Successfully developed a set of urban road monitoringequipment management system of early warning. The system includes a device management,maintenance management, basic data management, system management, coordination andinteraction, such as five modules. This system can manage the equipment of Monitoringsystemin an all-round way. Through the monitoring equipment operating data analysis, thesystem can timely warning equipment failure.With the Repair Process of the system, trafficpolice can manage monitoring equipment more convenient.
