With the rapid development of Internet technology and the expansion of wirelessnetwork coverage, mobile education has developed rapidly, as a new mode ofeducation. Mobile Education can get rid of the constraints of time and space, expandthe breadth and depth of learning. The mobile terminals, such as smart phone, laptop,and other mobile devices combining with the technology of3G, Wi-Fi and othercommunication protocols can be used by learners at anytime and anywhere. Duringcourses, individual ends use platform to send audio and video as real-timecommunication, teaching courseware presentation, chat and other functions throughthe screen switching.At this background, this paper puts forward a new Mobile/Service educationplatform after analyzing and studying of the existing mode combining with currenttechnology and solutions. This platform is built on Windows and Android which usesRed5server as audio and video processing technology, RTMP (Real Time MessagingProtocol) as streaming media transmission and control protocol, Flex as front-endtechnology.During the implementation process, the audio data and video data sent from oneterminal to another side may appear sound discontinuous, sound and videomismatches because of network delay, jitter, network congestion, codec rate, send andreceive rates mismatch and other factors. In order to solve audio and videotransmission problems and technical difficulties, this paper achieves an audio andvideo synchronization method based on RTMP. The principle is combining audio dataand video data to transport through the same media channel, adding local timestampin the process of unpacking group frame, then client play after the A/Vsynchronization. Experimental results show that this method can realize thesynchronization playback of audio and video, It has advantages of simpleimplementation and without increasing system burden, and so on. It has extensivepracticability.Finally, taking the actual project as an example, runs audio and videosynchronization solution on the actual mobile education platform to achieving a goodapplication on the PC side and Android client. After fully validated by experimental data, paper proves the superiority of audio and video synchronization programperformance.
