Design And Realization Of Pattern Design Digital Teaching Platform

Pattern design is one of the important basic courses for students majoring in Art&Design. With the wide application of the modern educational technology, designteaching is gradually changing from the traditional mode to a modern mode.Improving and updating pattern design courses by means of efficient and convenientdigital technology to adapt to the development of modern education teaching are ourresponsibility and obligation.In the study of digital teaching platform, the advanced course theory andpractical experience which come from comparison, analysis and study of patterndesign traditional teaching and digital teaching at home and abroad makes a usefulexploration in perfect combination of traditional teaching mode and digital teachingmode. First of all, by using advanced digital concept and flexible educational method，the force-feeding teaching method is broken, the dominant position of students isemphasized and teachers become guides in the teaching process. On the teachingresource, the factor of students is fully considered.in order to make students studyindependently in practice and cooperation, and to inspire and promotestudents’mastery of basic knowledge of traditional patterns; the transform fromgraphic patterns to information should be completed through the application of digitalmeans. By learning the development of traditional Chinese patterns, studentsunderstand the diversity of design resource. Secondly the application of convenientdigital technology inspires students to comprehensively understand and grasp basiclaws in the form of modern art design as well as laws of constitution and otherrelevant professional knowledge and skills. It is also convenient for students to finisha large number of practical traditional pattern design exercises in a short time, toobtain more intuitive data, to consolidate the foundation of various common designs,to improve the students’ comprehensive ability to use knowledge and practicaloperation ability.Simultaneously, the establishment of the virtual pattern design studioby using digital technology finally integrated traditional pattern design with digitaltechnology. The advantage of digital teaching should be fulfilled so as to realize theconnection between “basic” stage and design stage in the virtual design studio, tobuild the bridge between basic stage and design stage which makes the teaching goalof “learning for practice” come true during the basic teaching.
