As mobile networks continues to accelerate the process of becomingIP-based, especially the rapid development of mobile Internet services topromote IP mobile communication network acceleration under thebackground of traditional transmission network platforms can not meet theneeds of multi-service transport, PTN network has gradually become themainstream of the transport network. Meanwhile, in order to providepersonalized quality of service requirements for different customers better,and give full play to the advantages of PTN network, QoS technology isapplied in the transport network for the first time.This paper introduces the basic concepts and techniques of QoS andimplementations of QoS technology in the PTN network. On this basis, thecombined status of Shanghai Mobile transport network as well as theservice it provides, a set of characteristics suitable QoS strategies of PTNfor Shanghai mobile network was proposed. The needs and characteristicsof2G business,3G business, LTE business, large business customerhotline, WLAN business and OLT business were analyzed, then the papermade appropriate QoS parameter in setting program. Based on a simplebusiness model, the overall deployment solution was analyzed.Related business test equipment built by ZTE PTN experimentalplatform, including traffic classification and queue scheduling tests verify the QoS service policy effectively change the quality of service deliveryperformance. On this basis, in order to further understand and control thequality of the transmission business, the paper constructs the businessimpact assessment model. The model included indexes of two levels. Afterthe analysis of the two levels of indexes, the weight values were set.Through the calculation, the quantized evaluation results of the servicequality indexes can be got.According to the impact assessment of the quality of this businessmodel and the services Shanghai Mobile PTN network mainly carried, thebusiness impact assessment model was tested on the basis of2G, LTE andWLAN services. By testing, it was found that high level business, such asbase stations and LTE voice’s service quality was assured and improved.On the other hand, the quality of low level service business such as WLANis declined. QoS deployment strategy changed service levels and deliveryperformance of different services provide differentiated services fordifferent users, and improve allocation of network resources. Throughtesting of the model, the result was got that the service level can bechanged by adjusting the QoS parameters. Through the model, thequantized assessment results of service quality can also be got.
