In recent years, indoor wireless location System have got extensive attention of Bigcompanies and University researchers around the world. Wireless location System arewidely used in the industrial monitoring and control, public safety and emergencytreatment,manufacturing and logistics industry, health care and other industries because ofits broad application prospects. However,current wireless location technology,such asGPS obviously cannot be used indoor while other technologies such asultrasound,WiFi,RFID,UWB applied in indoor location also have their respectiveadvantages and disadvantages.Therefore,selecting an appropriate kind of wireless locationtechnology is very important for indoor location system.This paper studies the chirp spread spectrum(CSS) technology and compared it withseveral other wireless communication technology in their technical characteristics andadvantages. A kind of indoor wireless location system,which is based on the module ofnanoPAN5375, including the wireless terminal software, hardware design and PCmonitoring software is designed. In this system, the program code used for point to pointranging is written, using the SDS TWR Ranging algorithm, and then the distance can bemeasured. With the help of the passive positioning scheme, the program code of thedifferent terminal named Sink、Anchor and Tag is completed, then the location of themobile node Tag is realized. Based on C#language development and the Visual Studio2008development environment, and joined with MapInfo and MapXtreme, a graphicaldisplay of PC monitoring software is developed, Then a graphical display of the PCmonitoring software is developed. The least square method is used in the PC monitoringsoftware to realize the calculating of coordinate of the mobile node. Finally, the systemoverall test, the functions reached the expected design.For large scale indoor wireless positioning system,the node capacity in nanoPAN5375network will be very big,which will bring big pressure to the network load, increase packetloss rate,lead to network time delay and other factors that affect the networkperformance.Therefore,it is necessary to redesign the network to accommodate morenodes on the condition of having finished positioning the minimum system.This paperpresents a kind of network algorithm which was based on cluster structure and TDMA andhas simulated.The simulation results show that the algorithm is effective and feasible.
