The indoor positioning technology is always the hot problem of science researchers.Currently,as the most mature of positioning technology,GNSS is not suitable for indoor positioning because of its precision limitations and complication of the indoor environment.People can't find a sophisticated solution to meet the demand of indoor location service. The research of indoor positioning is still in the exploratory stage.Nowadays, most of the existing indoor positioning system can't meet the needs of both systematic cost and positioning accuracy. This paper will carry out the research of indoor positioning based on CSS technology, which mainly include the following aspects:1 .This paper summarizes the present research results both in domestic and outside, then introduces the aim and significance of choosing the title. To compare with the traditional positioning technology, the advantage of CSS technology on cost control and positioning accuracy is developed;2.In the aspect of ranging algorithm, this paper analyzes the errors of the SDS-TWR ranging algorithm. Compare to TOA, this ranging algorithm doesn't need to assure time synchronization and overcome the influence of clock skew efficiently. In the aspect of localization algorithm, this paper carries out simulation analysis from the three localization algorithms which include Least Square Algorithm, Newton Iterative Algorithm and Kalman Filer. The simulation results show the positioning performance of Kalman Filter which based on the Least Square Algorithm is the most accurate and stable;3.This paper designs the hardware nodes of the indoor positioning system by Altium Designer 14, which mainly includes the design of the schematic and PCB for the bottom plate of CSS RF module, and the key modules of the bottom plate are power module ? JTAG module?serial port module and the reset module and so on. Finally, the prototype hardware nodes are developed for the system;4.The system experiment platform is established to realize the system's ranging and location, this paper design the software environment based on Keil uVision5. To facility the users, this paper designed the system operation interface by Matlab. Then this paper makes the system ranging experiment by this plate both in the outdoor environment and indoor environment. The experiment shows the ranging effects is stable when the nodes are placed at the height of 1m. After that the simulation experiment of the indoor environment is performed to determine the coordinates of the anchor nodes. Finally, this paper operates the positioning experiment both in the indoor and outdoor environment. The experiment shows this system performs well and the results mainly accorded the prospective desire.
