With the improved quality of people life, the fast access technology of home gateway isexpected. Recently, IEEE P1905.1convergent network based intelligent home gatewaysystems have been researched as a popular topic. In this paper, coaxial cable is used asphysical transporter and a bridge module of IEEE P1905.1intelligent home gateway system isdesigned. The detail design of this Bridge module includes:AT91SAM9260chip with ARM9kernel and EoC (Ethernet over Coax) C8800DECO (Date Transmission with EPON MACand Coded OFDM) chip act as physical transporter. The ARM Linux operate system isapplied to realize transport service on coaxial cable in real time, and the remote connectrequirement of PC is satisfied based on this real time operate system. The SNMP (SimpleNetwork Management Protocol) services and MMP (Management Message Protocol) servicesis constructed in the ARM9processor and further the parameter communication between theEoC and core routing chip is achieved. In this paper, the hardware structure flows, thehardware schematics and the software implementation flows are also presented. Theexperiment tests demonstrate the effectiveness of the SNMP module. |
