Design And Implementation Of Statistical Report Inquiry Sub-System Of Distributed Statistics Basic Database

Statistics is a basic information resource of nation, the principal part ofnational economy and social information and the working basis for themacro-level policy-making and scientific decision-making of governmentdepartments. Also, it is not only the main source for public andinternational society to understand our national conditions and power, butalso the fundamental guarantee for the realization of national economy andthe social informationization.Distributed Statistics Basic Database is the basic project of statisticalreform and development, and the essential part of statisticalinformationization. Statistical report is the most frequently used method todig and apply statistical data. The collection and analysis of report havegreat significance for the macro-level policy-making of governmentdepartments and the enterprises’ management and planning. With the help ofStatistics Report Sub-System based on Distributed Statistics Basic Database,statistical internetization and computerization could be realized.Inquiry is the most common function in statistics activities. Hence, thestatistical report inquiry sub-system in this thesis becomes the veryimportant part of basic database. It strengthens the relatively weak link inthe original comprehensive information inquiry system, enables users toconveniently output data in a customized table.The aim of this design is to offer flexible inquiry into yearly data andprogressive data of basic data on the basis of WEB. Its function is: to defineinquiry condition of comprehensive inquiry via dragging and dropping theindexes, classifications and time. Then, according to the needed data,display inquiry result in the customized table, and support the combinationof multiple indexes, classifications and time. Query method is divided into:a query mode (professional table query, common indicators of queries,flexible query, fuzzy query) and the second query methods (iterative query).The subsystem selected cross-platform JAVA, JSP, and JavaScript and other languages, using the AJAX framework, specifically the JSP+XML+BINDOWS architecture. JSP responsible for the interaction with thedatabase, XML is a WEB server and pass data between the browser format,BINDOWS is based on JavaScript rich client software development.Thissystem uses the cross-platform language such as JAVA， JSP and JavaScript.According to metadata design ideas, this system’s design is based onbackground metadata. It divides the inquiry sub-system into statisticscomprehensive inquiry modula and statistics index inquiry modular.Through this sub-system, relevant departments are able to inquiry the latestinformation and acquire the data and situation at the first time.
