With the further development of the world of information technology, we have ushered in an era of global information, which is also full of statistical operations with new challenges. Therefore, how a rational and efficient use of macro-information resources to guarantee smooth channel for information exchange so that the statistical information management, data release and sharing work into the track of standardized and normalized, which seems to be the most concerned about and urgent problems to be solved.《"Eleventh Five-Year" National Statistical Information Construction Plan》 points that to create a macro decision-making and public service-oriented is based on statistical data center, which by the related consolidated database and the theme database consisting of statistical database system to provide strong support for the country’s macroeconomic database and through central and local government network resources offer an authority and wealth statistical information, as well as a variety of convenient functions for search and inquiry service.In this paper, using the Kunming city government of statistical information resources construction as the core, and also using the government comprehensive statistics and the sector industry statistics as the base information, management and exploitation and utilization of Kunming comprehensive statistical information for serving our community.This paper analyzes the current macroeconomic database development in domestic and overseas, based on index system of national statistical databases and combine with the actual situation of Yunnan Province, as well as through scientific filtering and collation to propose the objectives and content of the macroeconomic database construction in Kunming and design products which meet the norms and requirements for the state while it is has Kunming characteristics of Kunming statistics database system. To achieve a variety of valuable data resources’electronic, standardization, and statistical data resources’file management for Bureau of Statistics, as well as processing, integration and cleaning for file statistical data resources in order to build statistical database system for Statistics Bureau of finished data center. It is also solves the problem of the various types of statistical information sharing of scientific management and statistical information resources, which better serve the government’s macroeconomic policy-making and the community to provide quality statistical information service.
