| Thin Film Transistor LCD (TFT-LCD) is one of the fastest growing display technologiesin the world. It has broad applications, including LCD TVs, desktop computers, notebookcomputers, mobile phones, and so on. With the popularity of LCD TV, LCD TV isincreasingly the pursuit of large screen, thin, high-definition, while the LCD TVmanufacturers are also more and more, the production efficiency and the product qualityrequirements are increasingly high. Many large enterprises in Japan, South Korea, China’smainland, and Taiwan region have invested huge amounts of money for the development ofTFT-LCD industry. In order to save the LCD TV production costs, the majority of the LCDTV manufacturers are producing machine LCD TV, and small quantity production moduleassembly, so now the mainstream LCD panel shipments from the previous module shipping isnow taking Open cell as main. The liquid crystal panel Open cell by automatic means packingbe imperative, automatic packaging of liquid crystal panel system not only can savemanpower, improve production efficiency, can guarantee the quality of panel shipment.Based on the above background,combined with the actual situation of our factory,thispaper developed a kind of automatic packaging system of LCD panel based on PLC,realizedthe factory’s automatic packing of Open cell. System body part adopted the factory’s idleequipment of module assembly and redesigned, processing and modification.The system ofmajor electric control used Mitsubishi high-performance QCPU Q12H model of PLC,combined with Pro-face type AGP3600-T1-D24touch screen on the hardware and softwareaspects of the design. The hardware design introduced the selection principle and basis of thehardware system.Analyzed the advantages of the Q series of PLC and the use of the input andoutput module. Described the history and characteristics of touch screen using asman-machine interface, selection method. Studied the structure of servo system,servo motorworking principle and selecition principle. Introduced the principle and development ofBCR,the characteristic and work flow of this system using BCR. The software design firstlyintroduced the program design method of PLC system and each part of programe code, andthen displayed the touch screen program for each operation and display interface through theconfiguration software, finally introduced the study of servo motor parameters and BCRparameters. In the ending the paper introduced the system installation and debugging mattersneeding attention and its running effect, with different models of statistical data to verify thesystem put into use, had achieved the expected design results. |
