Design And Implementation Of Energy Efficiency Automated Test Platform For Flat Panel Televisions Based On LabVIEW

Flat panel televisions is one of the essential home appliances in people’s daily life, also isone of the major energy-consuming home appliances at present and even future. With thenational energy conservation policy continues to promote, energy-saving andenvironment-friendly Flat panel televisions products will become the mainstream products ofthe future Tablet market, energy efficiency has become one of the important parameters tomeasure its performance. In view of this situation, on the base of traditional testing methods,this paper designs a new energy efficiency automation test platform based on LabVIEW, thisplatform has notable advantages on improving test precision, reliability and efficiency.Firstly, according to related regulation and authentication, this article analyze the testingrequirements of Energy Efficiency Standard GB24850-2013, then present the software andhardware requirements for designing the automatic testing platform. Finally, it completes theholistic framework of the test platform design, hardware design and software design.Hardware design involves the selection of equipment, three-dimensional slip platform and thedesign and assembly of the drive module.Software design designs following functional partsvia utilizing LabVIEW platform: main interface, data reading of color luminance meter,motion control, CCD camera, test report generation, and others. Upon the platform built up,validates the automation test platform through two methods, verify its advantage onpracticability, reliability and testing accuracy respects. Finally this thesis has put forward theconstructive proposals against the automation test platform.The construction of this platform, will improve the test efficiency, enhance the reliabilityand accuracy of the testing data, better satisfy customer requirement. Simultaneously, thisleads the lab a step further on realizing the test automation.
