| The power adapter is a power charging equipment for variety of portable electronicdevices, extensive support in variety of electronic devices. Power adapter can be seeneverywhere in daily life. The utilization rate is quite high, so, the level of its energy efficiencyand energy-saving rate, it is particularly important in the energy shortage days. The test resultof energy efficiency of the power adapter here plays an important role in the evaluation. But,traditional testing method affect by human factors comes low efficiency, low reliability.Response to this situation, we design a LabVIEW-based automated testing platform forenergy efficiency in this paper.Firstly, we analyze the testing process according to the energy efficiency test standardGB20943-2013. Combining analysis, we confirm the requirements of automated testingplatform for software and hardware. According to the demand, we develop the overallframework of the platform. Then, we design the hardware and software of the platform.Hardware design involves the selection of equipments, design of the control module andassembly and connection of the testing platform. Software designs base on LabVIEWplatform. We design by three parts: under-level for drivers, middle-level for functions andhigh-level for user interface. The program achieves a complete testing process, calculationand determination, report generation and output functions such as. From theory to practice,we achieve the whole process from design ideas to the testing platform implementation. Aftercomplete of the formation of the platform, based on a set of samples measure analysis, as wellas traditional test method and test results of a comparative analysis, we prove that theplatform is reliable and practical.The completion of the test platform, laboratories will improve testing efficiency. It willsave a lot of records and reports editing time, thereby shortening the time required from thereceipt of the samples to a report issued, but also enhances the reliability and authenticity oftesting data and better meets customer needs. Meanwhile, automated testing also liberate therelevant technical staffs to have more energy into something more meaningful, more efficientuse of human resources in the laboratory. |
