It deeply studied and explored the problem of intelligent community informationmanagement system’s overall architecture and the main function modules realizationbased on the analysis of actual requirements. The following aspects of work are doneand certain results are achieved.1. And with the database platform, the entire software systemarchitecture design is achieved.2. In the aspect of geographic information: with the supported of SQL Server andthe integrated use of C#and ArcGIS Engine component, the application of GIS datain the layer is achieved through programming. The ADO database interface is used toconnect SQL Server database.3. In the aspect of business functions: based on the communication and networktechnology and combined with the technology of GPS and RFID, taking the patrolsystem as an example, GIS-based business information management system isachieved.
