The latter half of the20th century, human society has gradually stepped into “Intelligent Era” withthe rapidly development of computer science and thinking science. WISC is the abbreviation ofWechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, thanks to intelligence scales could evaluate the brain ofhuman objectively in terms of one’s thinking abilities, therefore, more and more experts began toexplore the scientific testing and evaluation method of thinking ability. In this thesis, it wasanalyzed the problems of existing testing and evaluation systems of thinking ability, therebyproposing a innovative system which was designed for school-age children based on WISC. Thissystem can test and evaluate, also could use a new visual image to present the characteristics ofuser’s brain thinking abilities and help them understand their own thinking level, so as to betterplan for their future study and development direction. Meanwhile, this system also provided someother functions to assist users’ testing and evaluation, such as user management, history analysis,information browsing, thinking ability training.This thesis mainly solved two problems. First is how to construct a testing and evaluation essentialfactor model of thinking abilities. In other words, the theoretical model of system. Specifically,this model is the prerequisite and foundation to develop and design this software system. Thethesis summarized and classified the brain thinking ability elements and used a visual image topresent them after analyzed the theories of human thinking logic characteristics, brain function,subject classification and so on, thereby laying the theory foundation of School-age ChildrenThinking Ability Testing and Evaluation System Based on WISC. Secondly, how to develop atesting and evaluation system which is suitable for school-age children on the basis of the abovementioned theory model. In detail, it combined the theory model with WISC and made furtherplanning about the design and development of this system, including function,UI,HCI anddatabase. Consequently, it developed a scientific and applicable thinking ability testing andevaluation system for school-age children to use and operate.Finally, this thesis used the testing method of black-box to test some main cases of School-ageChildren Thinking Ability Testing and Evaluation System Based on WISC, and made a outlook onthe future development of this system.
