The CNC technology based on embedded systems with the features of Low-cost andstrong specificity promotes the popularization and development in special areas andcontributes to the popularity of CNC technology applications in industrial automation, intelligent products development. The needs and technical requirements, the system structure of embedded motioncontroller was determined. The embedded system hardware adopted ARM+DSP+CPLDarchitecture. The solutions of the DA module and encoder signal receiving module and thedual-port RAM communications between ARM and DSP were presented. The characteristics and development process of Windows CE embedded operatingsystem running on the ARM were analyzed. The solutions of Windows CE Kernel cuttingand BootLoader Modification was presented. The module of the embedded software systems that can import and convert DXF andPLT files was developed. It describes the structure of the files and the document analysisflow. The stepper motor Motion planning of point-to-point movement under workingcondition of frequent starting and stopping was discussed. In this way, the feed movementcan reach the quick response, smooth movement, and precise positioning specifications. This algorithm also can reduce the vibration of the CNC system.Abstract Through field test of the hardware and software on the pattern sewingmachine, the results prove that the embedded control system is Correct, effective andvalue in use. Finally, we summarize the contents of the work done. At the same time, theproject further design goals and the application prospect of the design was proposed.
