With worsening trends of aging of population in China in recent years,the patients of chronic disease and degenerative disease seem to be more and more.The treatment emphasizes the principles that treatment first and custody second.In addition to conventional medical treatment,we need to carry out continuous monitoring of physiological parameters to provide diagnostic basis for the follow-up treatment of doctors and basic treatment in preventing emergency.However,the traditional medical monitoring equipment has disadvantages of large shape,fixed position and complicated wiring,limiting the application of medical monitoring equipment into practical treatment and the cost of medical care.ZigBee is a wireless communication technology with short distance and low power consumption.It boasts networking features related to organization,dynamism,large scale and application so that it could be properly applied to these fields of automatic detection,automatic control and remote control,and embedded into various underlying equipment,which exhibit the wide application in the internet era.Based on wireless communication technologies,the ZigBee network brings new scheme of solution for field of medical custody.This topic aims to real-time monitor physiological parameter of special people's groups with chronic disease,degenerative disease and highly infectious disease in state of movement.This paper studied and optimized the ZigBee networking technology to make it more suitable for networking environment towards dynamic changes of large scale and network topology.Firstly,this paper holds the opinions that ZigBee will be more suitable for monitoring network of wireless physiological parameter targeting at the special people's group in state of movement in real-time monitoring,compared with the performances and features commonly used short-distance wireless communication technology.Next,this paper carries out brief introduction related to standard agreement of IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee and expounds the technological principles of ZigBee network from networking to routing.Three kinds oftraditional routing algorithm of ZigBee(Cluster-Tree,AODVjr and ZBR)are discussed and analysed in detail,which draw a conclusion that they go through excessively redundant routing control overhead packet under networking environment related to dynamic changes of large scale and network topology.This paper further brings forward two ideas of improvement targeting at defects of highly control overhead of ZigBee traditional routing algorithm.They start from the hops of routing request packet broadcast and direction of routing request packet forwarding to achieve correct control of broadcasting area of request packet so as to reduce routing overhead and improve performance of the network.Next,targeting at this specific application environment in hospitals,the great efforts are made to establish simulation environment of NS2 application so as to catty out simulation off routing agreements of this wireless communications network,the results from simulation proves that this ZBR algorithm could effectively reduce routing control overhead in the network after improvement so as to reached the expected requirements of this design.
