With the developing of information technology, the network becomes an integralpart of people’s lives.In order to get the information needed, people browse the webthrow the graphical interface such as the Windows. However, the operation above issimply switching pages to pages without getting the situation of the remote serverneither nor the operation on the server. Excessive interface jump is cumbersome and awaste of system resources. In the Linux system, the operating capacity of thecommand line for all to see. By entering a few short commands, some complexoperations can be done. Nowadays, the rhythm of life getting faster, people arelooking forward to a more convenient living.This thesis has researched and implemented a system, which has portedCommand-Line mode to Web, known as Web-based command-line. The mainfunction of this system is to enable users monitor the server through the Web client,enabling remote monitoring and operation of the server. The operation commands arecustomized and scalable, can be added in accordance with relevant steps.The main work that have done as follows:1) Comparative analysis of some popular Web development technologies andprogramming languages, such as Struts, Ajax, jQuery, JSON, etc, research theirprinciples and technical advantages in development.2) By analyzing, the author has designed the hierarchy and frame of this system,discussed the functions as well as the development and testing environment.3) For important module, detailed design has given. The author has analyzed thefunction and process of some vital classes, designed communication protocol for thecommand parsing module. Adopting JSON as the front data transfer format, andXML for the background process.4) Testing the system by methods provided and analyze the result.Finally, after the related tests of the system, value of the program and support forbasic functionality has verified.
