| The communication networks in the future is required with the functions ofself-configuration and self-optimization and self-maintenance, which not only canease the working strength of the network planning and optimizing staff, but also canreduce the cost of running the network, improving the performance of the network. Asone of the key techniques of the future mobile communication,3GPP LTE improvescurrent communication network and air interface performance. In the system of LTE,automatic neighbor relation can realize the function of self-configuration andself-optimization and maintenance, adjusting to the requirements of communicationnetworks primly in the future, which make it become a hot spot in research ofcommunication industryBased on the3GPP standards, the paper is analyzing the configuration ofautomatic neighbor relation deeply. After analyzing some important reasons (such asmissed neighbor cell〠redundancy neighbor cell and across-boundary coverageneighbor cell)which cause the mistakes in automatic neighbor relation lists and relatedmethods, the main works include these:(1)Automatic neighbor relation programs about addition of automatic neighborand deletion of redundancy neighbor are proposed. The total number and successfulrate of statistics neighbor-cell’s switching in a cycle count the addition of automaticneighbor and deletion of redundancy neighbor. In the different conditions of neighborcell, the system can add the good cell to the list of neighbor relation and delete the badcell from the list of neighbor relation, which reflect the automatic update of neighborrelation list in different communication conditions. According to the simulationresults, these programs can work well in different conditions.(2)After analyzing the original programs, improvement measures are proposedfor the deficiencies. The judgment of cross-boundary coverage neighbor cell is addedto the original program of addition of automatic neighbor relation. The program candistinguish the cross-boundary coverage neighbor cell by the distance and layersbetween two cells. The system can judge whether the good cell is cross-boundarycoverage neighbor cell; the list of neighbor relation will add it if it is not. At the sametime, we can distinguish the different layer cells with the different grades. Thesimulation tool Matlab is used in series condition (such as different speedsã€differentpowersã€different thresholdsã€different radius of cell). In the condition of different layer cells with different grades, the simulation result shows that the improvementprogram can raise the successful rate of statistics neighbor-cell’s switching.Through the actual system test, the improved scheme has better system’sperformance, which can meet to the requirements of design function. |
