With the rapid development of embedded technology, reliability, stability andprocessing capabilities of embedded systems continues to increase, but the cost havebeen reduced, making the embedded image recognition system in the field of today’ssociety more widely, ranging from consumer electronics to industrial intelligentmonitoring and even space exploration are applying the embedded image recognitionsystem. The embedded image recognition system mainly include the three parts offront image acquisition system,the image data processing platforms and softwarerecognition algorithm consists. Currently, anti-counterfeiting technology mostly oncigarette packaging printing technology, high cost、complex process and easilycopied counterfeit, and the use of image recognition technology to obtain32laseranti-counterfeit cigarettes on the codes, and then through a wireless network tocomplete the coding and backend server data comparison, and thus to identify theauthenticity of cigarettes become a more effective way to combat counterfeiting,smuggling, changing products.Laser anti-counterfeit trademark cigarette packaging for identifying needs,proposed the idea embedded in a more efficient way of cigarettes to achieve32lasersecurity codes identification system, and from the front image acquisition module,hardware processing platform and three different human-computer interactionprogram comparison, several aspects fully into account the efficiency of the systemset up, recognition accuracy and efficiency and friendliness of human-computerinteraction, etc., select the hardware platform of Cortex-A8chip with USB cameraand Linux operating systems.On the basis of Cortex-A8and Linux, the architecture is designed to OMAP3DM3730core embedded cigarettes32laser security code recognition systemconsisting of hardware circuits, including power management circuits, storagedevices (SDRAM, Flash and TF Card) circuit, debugging interface circuit, four-wireresistive touch screen, LCD display interface circuits, wireless communicationsinterface circuits, image acquisition module and the USB interface circuit; design asthe core of the Linux operating system for embedded cigarettes32laser security codeidentification software system, the main including interactive interface, image processing algorithms and peripheral drivers and so on. Furthermore successfully loaded in the design of hardwareplatforms USB camera and wireless communication module; using V4L2videocapture interface functions to achieve the interception camera to capture a BMPformat image; then the realization of the captured image data stored in Linux, andthrough images recognition algorithms to32laser security code recognition, therecognition rate of over90%.Finally through a wireless network (WIFI or3G network) send the32lasersecurity codes to the backend server code data comparison, and then the servercomparing the results and return it to identification system, thereby judging thecigarettes.
