With the continuous development of the railway container transportation, and thegrowing volume of the transportation,Chinese railway container means of informationgathering is still relatively backward, the use of manual,semi-manual mode informationreproduced have cannot achieve the real-time monitoring and the positioning of the container.Due to the low half-way manual transcription efficiency in the container yard, and the higherror rate, these means has seriously hampered the development of Chinese railway containertransport, therefore, the thesis proposed the method. This thesis introduces the common technology of the cargo tracking firstly, such likeGPS,and focuses on the technology of RFID,including how it works.Secondly, the thesiscombined the background of the tracking of the railway container, and the process of thestation business, and the problems of the container tracking, analyzing the characteristics ofGPS,the technology of code tracking and RFID.After the comparison, the technology of RFIDhas the obvious advantages.(1)The application of RFID can change the transportsituation, with the coordination of container logistics can change the opaque status quo, thewhole supply chain can achieve the real-time business communication and the automatedoperation;(2)improve the work efficiency;make the entire container processes visible toprevent the transport process of leaky box, wrong box;(3) enable shippers can alwayscheck the goods condition and improve the quality of transport services and logistics services.Aspects of localization algorithm, we use RSSI location algorithm is based on a mappingsignal strength with the geometric distance between the reference labels in accordance withideas LANDMARC study the impact on system performance multiple reference neighborsand positioning accuracy, using algorithms come to be positioned Chan preliminary estimatesof the position of the target, and then uses an iterative algorithm for precise positioning, andfinally improve the algorithm by considering the effects of history and algorithm simulation. The simulation results show that the use of four or more readers and do not need muchreference to locate the label will be able to meet the needs of practical application, and thehistory of effect algorithms to improve accuracy while not need additional hardware.
