Key Technology Research And System Realization Of Cloud Storage Gateway Based On Network File System

With the rapid growth of the amount of data, there is a strong demand of strorage expansion for traditional applications. Cloud storage is one of the best solutions. The cloud storage gateway could shield the difference between traditional storage interface and cloud storage interface. But there are some problems in the existing cloud storage gateway, including incomplete support of traditional storage protocol, slow response time and incompatibility with a variety of cloud storage. To solve these problems, this paper designs and builds a new cloud storage gateway system based on NFS. To support various traditional strorage protocols completely, this paper proposes a method that reserves physical files and directories on cloud storage gateway. Because it does not use the virtual files, it could support special files, produce complex results and achieve full support for traditional storage protocol. This paper proposes to split large files to reduce the maximum response time. Besides, a Hybrid-based algorithm is used to reduce average response time. Consequently, this system could response the users in time. To be friend to a variety of cloud storage, this paper designs cloud storage access unified interface. Through shielding isomerism of cloud storage interfaces, this system could achieve compatibility of different cloud storage interface. This paper builds a complete cloud storage gateway system, including NFS server, large file adapter module, cache manager, cloud storage access unified interface and so on. This system could effectively solve existing problems of cloud storage gateway. This paper tests the cloud storage gateway system. The result shows that under the premise of a little of the original NFS server performance sacrificing, cloud storage gateway system supports traditional storage protocol completely, decreases response time, and is compatible with a variety of cloud storage.
