With knowledge economy coming, individuals, enterprises and even the country are facing big challenges, we must be continuous innovative to fit society’s rapid developments. Knowledge is a kind of medium for human communications, innovation is a living style of human being. We cannot innovate anything without knowledge, at the same time, society will not be able to develop and advance without innovation. In the real world, knowledge and information are extremely abundant, but they are also very disordered. For individuals and enterprises, it is a problem to be solved immediately that how to acquire useful knowledge from the complicated knowledge, and how to represent the knowledge scientifically in order to meet the need of creative design. Nowadays, most of the companies have not become the subject of the technological innovation, being short of inpeccable intellectual property strategy; when the company developing new product or doing the technical transformation, lacking a quick and direct innovative solutions.This paper chooses nine classes patents of forest machinery as the studying objects and the main resources of field knowledge. It uses Protege to build field ontologies and TRIZ ontologies, and eliminate the heterogeneous ontologies by using the ontology mapping method based on case similarity. It also builds TRIZ fusion system based on domain ontology knowledge, analyzing the composition and structure and the key technology of the fusion system, and develop prototype fusion system based on this design of system, and then build a TRIZ inventive support platform, this platform is faced to forestry machinery field. This paper uses ontology, TRIZ and semantic technology and puts forward a semantic knowledge representation method in order to help users finding the solutions for innovation.A practical case study was provided for testing this platform, the results show that this research can assist forest machinery companies achieving function innovation and principle innovation on the production design and process design, solve problems in productive procession, developing company’s technical innovative abilities and efficiency. This study also has reference value and guiding significance in other fields which face the similar problems.
