ABSTRACT:RFID, radio frequency identification technology, is a non-contact automatic identification technology, which automatically identifies the target RF signal and to obtain relevant data. With the development of RFID technology, it is being more widely used in many fields, at the same time; the scale of its application also will be growing. In a communication systems based RFID technology, middleware shield the diversity and complexity of the underlying RFID hardware devices, and integrated into the upper system software. RFID middleware is a bridge between RFID hardware devices and system applications, which can collect data and filter it.This paper describes the design of a solution about RFID middleware based on LLRP and ALE standard. The function of RFID middleware is to shield the underlying hardware, making data acquisition process for users and developers to be transparent, while providing the function of filtering and collecting data, and support the new standard has equipment. It reference ALE standard and enhance the support for LLRP protocol in the management for LLRP readers.The article first introduced RFID technology standards and describes the definition and classification of middleware technology, after briefly EPCglobal RFID middleware architecture and technology-related standards:ALE standard and LLRP protocol. In the design of this RFID middleware solution refer to the source RFID middleware products, which is proposed based on LLRP protocol, then, to develop and complete the solution, and develop a client program used to test the function and stability of the RFID middleware.
