Nowadays, there is a trend of body panic over China, one of the performance is the health craze led by Hunan Satellite TV.This trend has spread from screen to real life, Zhang Wu-ben and Ma Yue Ling and Doctor Xi’mu,they play important roles in the show and attract a lot of attention from audiences. On the other hand, the food and medicine such as eggplant, green beans, radish, raw loach, L-carnitine which they preached in the show were very popular in the market. But, during the subversion of the mysterious image, this health craze is slowly cooled. However, the mechanism of this health craze is a wonderful subject to research.People worry about their body, one of the reason is based on the tradition of body culture, for example, aesthetic pressure and gaze pressure from the whole society. One of other reason is the intimidation of the media discourse, the over-cover of environmental pollution and food security issues in the news, the proliferation of television commercials, pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising and the intimidation of expert discourse. They talk too much about how bad the world is. The media and experts make a deal in the TV show, they make the audience believe that the situation is getting worse, in which the TV station can get high ratings, the experts can increase their exposure so that sell more products by the way. They also hope to promote the so-called scientific and fashion way of life.As the leader of the TV health programs, the leader of the health craze, Hunan Satellite TV use the entertainment elements and narrative strategies to package the discourse, the audience were coerced into a consumption binge ceremony. After brainwashing by the Conspiracy discourse, audience make a series of "panic" consumer behavior, such as:looting consumption, over-consumption of health knowledge, quantitative type body consumption, and even the "anti-consumption" behaviour.
