Able to useadvanced technology to the home network consisting of electrical equipment, equipmentto achieve the centralized management of the network through the family, to become thepeople’s urgent needs. Appear smart home system, so that the living environment ofinformation, intelligence became a reality.Currently, control of the smart home is not particularly perfect, there are still someproblems. Among these issues, particularly in the communication protocol is not openmost critical and important. For more products abroad, focusing on intelligent buildingconstruction downtown buildings, domestic products are often self-made system, isexpensive, especially smart appliances use more of their own accord, foreign technologysecurity, interoperability problems can not be made using an open architecture, can beintegrated with a variety of market generic products, suitable for intelligent home can bebuilt higher price-smart home system.This research paper is part of the smart grid, which aims to present a commonprotocol adopted, through smart home controller and control method to communicatewith smart appliances INTERNET. In this issue, will be32-bit ARM chip (SBC6020) asthe core, with the Linux operating system and Android smart client, have a tradition ofsmart home features, can also be integrated with a variety of generic products.This article describes the entire embedded system design. Firstly, the characteristicsof embedded systems as well as the current status of the current development; Secondly,it introduces the overall structural design of the system, and by comparing each commonprocessors, operating systems, communication protocols, the final decision of the currentembedded systems software platform; third, describes how to build a systemdevelopment environment; fourth, combining features of the system, the client discussesthe overall system design host controller and the communication protocol between theclient and the host controller and gives the realization of the interface; Finally, futureresearch directions for this system deficiencies.
