Softswitch Application In Zhongshan Power Supply Bureau Administrative Exchange Network

With the development of communication technology, computer, networktechnology and internet technology, the NGN technology compromisingcommunication and information technology has becoming the trend in technology andapplication. The softswitch has realized convergence within the network and theapplication.As an important technology of the NGN, the softswitch technology which cancarry voice service, data service and image business at the same time, is the directionin developing communication technology. and it is also very good to meet thedemands of various and personal users. Therefore, applying soft switching technologyto power system would be of more benefit in achieving various businesses andapplication requirements.However, there have not any mature cases in construction of high-level businessplatform which based on softswitch for electric power enterprises performing verywell right now. In order to improve the communication level of the Guangdong Gird,and also to keep in step with the trend of NGN technology development, theGuangdong Grid has carried out application researches in the field of soft switching inrecent years. Relying on the softswitch construction project of the Zhongshanelectricity Supply Board of Guangdong Grid, this paper studied on the businessapplication of the softswitch technology. Based on analyzing current network statusand users requirements in business applications of the administrative exchange systemof Zhongshan electricity Supply Board, this paper has put forward an overallconstruction scheme of softswitch network, and give a demonstration on the safety,reliability and Qos question in the bearing network, and also make correspondingsolutions; The paper has also studied on the interconnection issues between thesoftswitch, Siemens administrative exchange and the Harris dispatching exchange;Based on applying the UC server, this paper took research on an advanced businessapplication platform for the softswitch, and realized the enterprise mail list, OneNumber, clicking to dial, calling records and electronic fax and other senior businessfunctions. This paper still made research on soft exchanging heterogeneousintegration model which suits for the Zhongshan electricity Supply Board, anddiscussed methods between the softswitch and office automation system, theintegration between the softswitch and video conference system, and also the process and interface problems in the model corresponding. The results of construction andresearch of this paper show that the project realized internal and externalcommunication function between telephone and the PC client’s, and many otheradvanced application functions, and also the softswitch system running stable andreliable. And the project provided reference for Guangdong power grid to implementsoftswitch network construction.
