Rapid development of wireless mobile communication technology and the perceptiontechnology has witnessed the coming of an ubiquitous Internet communication era, which isdue coming with the dual driven effects of technology innovation and applicationrequirements. The proposal of IOT not only extends the spans of the user terminal equipment,but also the deployment category of IOT, which can achieve the interaction of people andthings, things and objects by heterogeneous integration of various information communicationnetwork, such as the Internet, mobile network and fixed network. As an important supportingtechnology of network communication, mobility management technology has aroused wideattention. Based on the research of IOT network communication as the main line, this thesissummarizes the status of mobility management technology research and the development ofIOT. The main parts are on the architecture of Internet of things, multiple access technologyof IOT, heterogeneous convergence of IOT and mobility management based on thecombination of mobile IP and MPLS. Main work and research contents are as follows:First of all, detailed researches are carried out on the related research background ofmobility management based on the protocol reference model of mobility management, andcomparatively complete induction and summary of current network layer mobilitymanagement technology are done. On research of IOT, the definition to IOT is defined andthe concept of whole IP IOT is put forward after discussion over the relation between internet,IOT, the ubiquitous network and sensor network. And the structure of iot system is studiedfrom the perspective of function. Study shows that IOT is very important to a layer of thenetwork layer and is the key of the information transmission either based on USN IOT fivelayers structure, or based on M2M IOT three-tier structure. IOT network, which includes theaccess network and bearing network, is the basis of things oriented communication.With the diversified development of modern communication technology, the Internetaccess technology also presents the diversification, which makes the heterogeneousintegration become the trend of network development. This paper gives a comprehensive analysis of multiple access technology of IOT, discusses the four schemes of heterogeneousintegration, and proposes a multiple access environment simu-transmission and seamlessmobility solutions under the background of heterogeneous integration.As concerning the combination of mobile IP and MPLS technology, this thesis analyzesthe working mechanism of MIPv6and HMIPv6and the working principle of the MPLS,proposes the HMIPv6improvement scheme based on MPLS, carries out the simulationanalysis by comparing the mobile node switching performance of MPLS core network and IPcore network and finally further research suggestions on mobile IP and MPLS technology aregiven.
