With the development of communication technology, in the face of the massivegrowth of IP data services, mobile operators are now considering intelligent terminals tosupport both3G and WLAN, and want to take WLAN network as a low-cost alternativeof3G data network which can redirect parts of data services. Nowadays, the studying ofheterogeneous network becomes so popular, and also3GPP group has already proposedPMIPv6-based mobility management architecture, which effectively integrates3GPPand non-3GPP network resources. Compared to dual-stack Mobile IPv6mobilitymanagement framework, proxy mobile IPv6makes less modification of MN protocolstack, which is the most interesting place operators concern.As a new and important part of mobility management, flow mobility managementis the main content of our research. Also, multi-service network selection algorithm inswitch management in the context of flow mobility management is another importantaspect of our study.Firstly, the dissertation designs multi-service network selection algorithm by usingAHP combining bargaining game in the context of PMIPv6flow mobility management.On one hand, Analytical Hierarchy Process can calculate and attain a more accuratevalue of the network utility; on the other hand, the bargaining game can effectivelycomplete the task of multi-service network selection. This article discusses two types ofscenes and through comparing with the conventional AHP multi-service cycle algorithm,this algorithm is able to meet various businesses’ satisfaction and at the same time makethe overall effectiveness of the joint networks always reach a better state.Secondly, by analyzing the limitations of proxy Mobile IPv6when supporting flowmobility management, this dissertation puts forward PMIPv6-based flow mobilitymanagement design proposal and extended modification of related entities. What’s more,according to the characteristics of the three main tasks of flow managerment, wedesigns the overall program of PMIPv6supporting flow mobility: Terminal protocolstack adds the virtual interface layer, which is used to store the current routing bindingsand routing policy in order to guide the corresponding bindings of the bottom layer interfaces correctly; LMA is expanded to support the flow bindings list in order toachieve several binding entries that point to the same prefix, and then forms flowmanagement rules which can guide the business flow forward through the right MAG.Thirdly, through the use of linux bonding module and netlink ip6tables toolscombining with policy routing, this dissertation completes the concrete design schemeof PMIPv6supporting flow mobility management function by taking LMA as thedecision-making entity.At last, we put up PMIPv6network test platform in the laboratory and test thefunction that PMIPv6flow mobility management. The test results show that, the virtualinterface can support the management of multiple bindings and the adding functionmodules can effectively complete the task of PMIPv6flow mobility management.
