Along with the aggravation of demand in individualization and fast delivery, traditional centralized manufacturing mode is developing in the direction of distributed manufacturing model. Researchers proposed the concept and framework of mutil-agent manufacturing system and holonic manufacturing system in succession, who intend to build agent that has the characters of autonomy, collaboration and dynamic, to adapt to the changes of circumstance by cognition and interaction between the agents that make manufacturing system has the capacity of self-adaption, self-organization and quick response. However, on account of lacking effective resource cognition and intelligent control mechanism, there’s few application of distributed manufacturing system in the practical industrial process.In view of this, based on analyzing the problem in resource cognition and process control of the present distributed manufacturing system, this paper begins with analyzing the manufacturing process and resource, then divides the manufacturing resources into active resources and passive resources. The active resources are allocated with terminal computers and RFID readers and the passive resources are allocated with the RFID tags. Then the real time state and action logic model is built based on Petri Net for different kinds of manufacturing resource, at the same time, the workpieces’key information that needed in the manufacturing process is designed. The designed information and the models are transformed into XML which are embedded in manufacturing resources by some technologies such as RFID. Then the manufacturing resource can be turned into agents with a high degree of autonomy, so that the automatic cognition and process control ability of the manufacturing resource can be improved. Finally, the interaction process of different kinds of manufacturing resources is studied, so that the validity and feasibility of the proposed method is further described. And cognition and process control system based on Petri Net in the Internet of things circumstance is designed. The study of above technology and method provides a theoretical foundation for manufacturing resources cognition and process control.
