Workflow Management Technology And Its Application Based On Relationship Among Business Units

With rapid economic development, competition among enterprises becomes moreintense. Under the fierce competition, companies need an effective enterprise informationmanagement sytem to support. More and more companies choose to use enterpriseinformation management system. Workflow management system is an important part ofenterprise information management systems. Business workflow contains manybusinesses, and there are correlations between these services, which may affect the normalexecution between business such as operation and change. In order to deal complexenterprise business workflow, we employ workflow localization methods based on thebusiness association. A workflow is considered as a combination of several local processaccording to certain rules, and the development tasks is decomposed into smaller tasks. Itcan reduce system complexity and difficulty of development and improve the efficiency ofthe system development. In this thesis the method is applied to the design anddevelopment of a steel production supervision and control system, and explains itsapplication process. Finally, compared to other solutions, our proposed workflowlocalization has the advantage in workflow management system development.
