Surface plasmon resonance sensing technology is quickly developed in the1990s of adetection technology.It has high sensitivity, real-time monitoring, sample without tags, andmany other features, has the broad application prospect.This paper respectively from two aspects of theory and experiment research on thesurface plasmon resonance technology, mainly based on surface plasmon resonanceKretschman prism type Angle sensor and the modulation type sensor, using Winspallsoftware for the theoretical research on spectral characteristics and metal/dielectric film of theSPR curve simulation, determine the thickness of the metal film, change the thickness of thedielectric film, draw the corresponding SPR curve, the simulation results show that gold (Au)and silver (Ag) of membrane produces a significant phenomenon of surface plasmonresonance, the response of the best film thickness of50nm and45nm;The aluminum filmthickness is about8nm, SPR phenomenon is the most obvious.And under the condition ofonly metal film can be seen from comparing the simulated curve, add the dielectric film, thecurve of the resonance Angle increases with the thickness of dielectric film thickening, halfwidth increases with the increase of the thickness of the dielectric film of wide, and thephenomenon of double resonance peak.A coating experiment, on the basis of theoretical study,using the method of magnetron sputtering deposition film, silver and gold plated membranesin the surface of prism, and USES the method of electron beam evaporation platingaluminium film, through the Angle modulation type detection method to draw out the SPRcurve.Through the surface plasma resonance curve comparing with the results of simulationand experiment research, the corresponding experimental conclusions.Finally, the thesisresearch work is summarized, and the application field of surface plasma resonance isdiscussed and the significance of metal/dielectric film of SPR, and the application prospect ofsurface plasmon resonance sensing technology for further prospects.
