Building And Implementing Cloud Platform For Sharing Of Chemical Software

Software resources has become an indispensable tool for resources, when the global industries carrying out the production and operation, as a result,implement software resources sharing among enterprises, have become an irresistible trend.Currently the "Upload-Download" approach has been used to share software resources in the market. However, due to the different requirements of configuration, operating environment and installation, some special software will not run properly ondifferent computers, which affected the availability of resource sharing largely.A system based on Windows Terminal Service had been built successfully, after comparing the two development models and three kinds of packaging technology. This system requires a powerful database server to support as well as higher safety requirements, so I had chosen MySQL and PHP language as an assistive technology. Under this system,all the software resources have been run just on the server, and users on the client do not need to download and install software, just a simple mouse, keyboard, they can use software independently through the browser, which the higher configuration is not required.The introduction of Citrix’s MetaFrame technology has been chosen to simplify the way to upload software resources to the server-side. The requirements of MetaFrame on computer configuration are very high, and the compatibility are quite different with different systems. MetaFrame has been installed on the server side successfully through a long time’s trying and fumbling. By MetaFrame, publishing application have become conveniently, and improved the efficiency of the platform as well.In order to improve efficiency in response to users access to the platform, I have introduced a new technology:cloud platform technology. With the high availability of cloud computing, the written procedure have been put in the "cloud" to run during the development process, when the system has failed, the management of the "cloud" platform will run the program immediately, and repair the failed node to ensure uninterrupted uptime.After finishing the study, a cloud platform has been built successfully, which has provided users at client a access to applications via the Internet.
