The Design And Implementation Of Vehicle Access Control System Based On RFID

With the rapid development of China's economic construction, the ownership of urban automobile grows very quickly, and the traditional traffic management techniques can not meet people's needs, high automation, convenient and intelligent vehicle management system has become the trend nowadays.Vehicle access control system is the heart subsystem of vehicle access management system, which is a very important part in high automation vehicle management.Automatic vehicle identification is the base of vehicle access control system. Radio Frequency Identification is a non-contact automatic identification technology using radio frequency communication,this paper aims to design and implement an vehicle access control system using RFID technology.Firstly,this paper introduced the backgroud of vehicle management,summarized the development of RFID technology at home and aboard as well as the application status of automatic vehicle identification system,summarized the theory of RFID technology,providing the theoretical basis and guidelines for further design;then this paper designed and analysed the vehicle access control system based on RFID, including system architechure,workflow,and in which this paper designed an algorithem of processing vehicle's access and vehicle-following based on loop detection;then this paper designed a solution of vehicle access management system,including hardware architecture, equipment selection, software architecture,function modules,database design,etc;and implement the software of vehicle access control system using Visual C# programming language;at last,gived the success application example of this system in the vehicle management project of Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Corporation.With the development of RFID technology,the vehicle access control system designed in this paper will have very good application prospects in areas such as vehicle management and intelligent transportation.
