Logistics industry is the lifeblood of business and a high-quality one is a more importantportion to support the commerce. The information technology provides a technical support forhigh quality logistics with the development of the information level now. The article put forwardan automatically monitored control system for temperature and humidity in environment ofrepository and transportation. It was built using embedded ARM technology, ZigBee wirelesscommunication technology, the Web server development technology and fuzzy control algorithm.The system mainly monitored the temperature and humidity of environment where the goods arestoraged or on transportation. It also could keep a constant temperature and humidity ofenvironmen for goods employing the fuzzy control method.Firstly, the article described the development about the goods’ storage and transportationsecurity at home and abroad. Then the system scheme was portrayed. It consist of the monitoringnode, the monitoring terminal and the PC server. Utilizing self-organised network of ZigBee,communicationthe between the monitoring node and the monitoring terminal wasefficiently established. The monitoring node performed the acquisition of temperature andhumidity and air-condition control. After the data encoded by Modbus protocol was transferredto the monitoring terminal using the ZigBee network, it was displayed on LCD. It was alsouploaded to remote PC sever via3G/GPRS network. PC sever gathered the monitoring data viaethernet. The data could be displayed and managed in PC sever using dynamic Web pages anddatabase techonlogy. Finally, the fuzzy control algorithm was applied to keep the constanttemperature and humidity of environmen for goods.With the function of the system, managers could not only locally watch the real-timetemperature and humidity, but also view the message on the Web using mobile phone, tabletcomputer and PC machine. The function of constant temperature and humidity assured thegoods’ quality during transportation. The system impoved intelligent monitoring and efficientlyreduced the manpower and material resources.It would own a wide application prospects.
