Design And Implementation Of The IOT Gateway Based On Embedded Linux

With the apperance of the concept and application of the IOT(Interent of Things),a new round of information industry boom has been brought. The IOT makeeverything connected together and share information with each other, buy using theintelligent method of identification and control. The sensor network is a veryimportant part of the IOT. With the populatity of the IOT, the number of sensors anddevices will continue to grow. The new question is how to make that deviceseffective to the IOT.With the advances of hardware and software for embedded system, embeddeddevices have been widely used. And with its advantages of low power consumptionand high performance, embedded devices will play an important role in the future.Based on the research of the IOT and embedded system, we designed a system ofthe IOT gateway. It provides different ways to communicate with different types ofsensors and devices, and makes the exchange of information between Interent andsensors come true. According to the application and actural demand, we chose thedevice which use the micro processor based on ARM as the core of hardware device,and transplanted embedded Linux operating ststem. We use the wireless datecommunication modules to let the IOT gateway communicate with sensor device, andanalyzed the detail of ZigBee communication. Based on the research of embeddedweb server and the technology of GSM(Global System of Mobile Communications),we analyzed the procedure of the BOA web server works, and transplanted it. Inaddition, we learned the principle and the programming skills in the Unixenvironment, and designed parts of software for the IOT gateway. With the analysisof the IOT gateway, we designed the application of warehouse management system,including the program modules of web forms, CGI, data base, and had the basicfunction come ture.
