Design And Realization Of Assistance System For Teaching Information Management

The society at present has marched into an era of information. Informationconstruction is in its full swing in all walks of life, and so is in higher educational institutes.Teaching management informatization is the top priority in information construction ofcollegiate management. As a significant method for teaching management, the teachingmanagement information system is generally popularized and widely used. Despite itsmany advantages, such common system may seem not fully compatible to completingteaching management in some specified colleges required for particular concerns as theauthor locates. Therefore, it is necessary and extremely urgent, based on the traditionalcommon teaching management system, to devise a network of assistance system forteaching information management that meets specified requirements of the college.The thesis firstly conducts some discussion on the background of system developmentand some existing problems. It also introduces current challenges and opportunities underthe new context.Secondly, some technologies adopted in system database design and general structureof primary functions such as Oracle database technology, jsp technology are introduced indetails, on which basis an analysis with regards to its feasibility and requirements is carriedout.Thirdly, it also discusses the target and principle of system design, as well as thedesign of system database and the design of general structure in primary functions,followed by a thorough introduction of system structure and database structure, detaileddescription and devising methodology in each function in the system and correspondingrealization procedure of the abovementioned function modules. In conclusion, the thesis draws a summary on design and realization of assistancesystem for teaching information management with briefing on features and advantages ofthe system along with insight into its development trend and shortcomings.
