The Design And Realization Of WEB-based Network Assistance Teaching Platform

Network Assistance Teaching, as a new teaching mode, can take full advantage of the information technology in colleges and universities, and exhibit student-centered and teacher-guided modern teaching thoughts. With continuous development of computer and Internet technologies, Network Assistance Teaching will be applied in wider and wider fields. How to carry out Network Assistance Teaching activities efficiently has become a major subject which draws wide attention in the construction of teaching informationization in colleges and universities and the construction of Network Assistance Teaching resource platform becomes the basis and key to resolve the subject.The thesis focuses the phenomena which exist in colleges and universities—scattered courses resources and lack of communication in teaching; tries to provide a supporting environment of Network Assistance Teaching for the traditional classroom teaching so as to realize the purpose of integrating and sharing teaching resources to the maximum; analyzes the feasibility and necessity to develop the platform for Network Assistance Teaching; relates the theoretical basis for the platform development; introduces the key technology—Net in the platform development; analyzes the needs of the platform design in details and put forward an overall design scheme; describes and analyzes the realization process of the key module of the platform, and finishes the test of the platform and promotes its application.The thesis falls into seven Chapters. Chapter I generally introduces the background of platform study home and abroad, analyzes the feasibility and necessity of its development and puts forward the idea of constructing such a platform. Chapter II mainly analyzes the theoretical basis of the platform design, including informationizing theories, teaching designing theories and studying theories. Chapter III mainly introduces the related technologies on the platform design such as the developing technologies like ASP, NET, developing languages like Visual C#.NET and Database management system like SQL Server 2000. Chapter IV puts forward the overall needs analysis and the design of its structures, designs the function module of the platform, lay out and design its database. Chapter V introduces the realization of the platform design, in particular, the realization and design of the overall service module of the system, the module for public use, the management module for its customers/ safety, supporting modules for Network Assistance Teaching, the management module for teaching resources. Chapter VI introduces the test and application of the platform, mainly includes the test of functions of the platform, the research on its overall effects in application and its feedbacks. Chapter VII sums up the thesis and suggests the possible researches in future.Web-based teaching platform is easy to operate and functions stably. Over the past two years, it's well received by students and professors and it promotes the reform of teaching methods in undergraduates' classes of our university which in turn improves the teaching quality of our university to an extent.
