Intelligent video control system is combined with smart appliances,network monitoring and computer vision and image processing, and is also acombination of artificial intelligence and the Internet of things. Specificallyspeaking, it use the theory of computer vision and image processing, combinedwith smart appliances and network monitoring, based on mature mobileplatforms (Android system) to develop a system in automatic cooking porridge.Smart appliances are modern intelligent network devices, which embeddedmicroprocessor, with the functions of network communications, informationprocessing and controlling the various sensors on it. And networking videosurveillance is developed from the traditional video surveillance, as the eyes ofthe Internet of things. In addition to the function of video recording and imagecapture, it also has computing, telecommunication, remote controlling and otherfunctions.In this paper, author uses mobile phone to control these smart devices, andmake the phone as a remote control center. Besides making this system,analyzing the pictures of porridge with the methods of image processing isanother important work.Recently, video image processing is a hot spot. There are many methods invideo analysis. And for researching how to control the power based on thechange of porridge, author chooses image characteristics as the breakthroughpoint.In this paper, author uses perceptual features of texture which is proposedby Tamura et al from the perspective of visual perception. Analyzing the Tamuraroughness of porridges on different moment, we propose a method[1]. After that,on this basis, considering the influence of lighting, capture size, transparentcover, we modify the algorithm. Finally, with a large number of experiments, it shows that it is a useful method to adjust the cooking power in cooking porridge.
