In order to complete the development tasks of "Beidou star I" satellite’s navigation receiver’s RF front-end sample, based on studying the structure of wireless trareceive system, structure scheme of "Beidou star I" RF’s front-channel receiver and transmitter channel was determined, and the key parameters of the RF front end based on the actual situation and the requirements was planed. After learned the theoretical knowledge of microwave radio frequency deeply, the ATF-34143low-noise amplifier chip was selected as the core. The ADS simulation design tools and S parameter model of the chip were used to design and achieve the function of low noise amplifier of "Beidou star I’"s navigation and positioning receiver front-end, and the sample was made and tested to prove the reliability of the design method. The noise figure and reflection coefficient and other indicators of the sample met the design requirements.The principle and implementation of frequency synthesis were introduced, while the phase-locked loop frequency synthesis was detailed introduced also and its working principle was analyzed. Based on knowing well chip Si-4133, the "Beidou star I" receiver’s LO oscillator was designed and achieved. The mixer especially the Gilbert double balance mixer’s basic structure and modulation principle and realization of converters BPSK were introduced. The direct phase modulation was chosen and the Gilbert double balance mixers’ structure was used to realize the design of BPSK modulation circuit’s transmission channel. The design and calculation method of RF filter were introduced. The ADS was used to design the band-pass filter to solve the problem of receiving channel output signal’s baseband. The basic knowledge and main steps of design of the power amplifiers were studied. At the end of this paper, a load transfer method was used for power amplifier’s input and output matching circuit design. Then the FLL117ME and FLL120MK transistor amplifiers were chose as the core to design a power amplifier with a two-stage cascade and the output power is10W which meet the needs of "Beidou star I" RF front-end’s channel system. After designing the circuits of all components of "Beidou star I" receiver’s RF front-end, the sample of RF front-end was made and its circuit especially the low-noise amplifier and power amplifier module were debugged. This paper introduced each part of designing of the actual circuit and debugging processes, at the mean time, recorded all the technical indicators after debugging, and proved the feasibility ef design method the paper chose, which was of guide significance to realize the "Beidou star I’" receiver’s RF front-end.
