The transceiver is an important part of many communication systems. Its performance directly affects the system's work.This paper detailed discussed the principle, design and test work on the critical device of RF front-end transceiver, and design a transceiver front end used in 3G band for research. At first the parameters of the RF front end is analyzed in the dissertation, and different kinds of receiver and transmitter is introduced. Then the scheme of the transceiver is also presented. Then according to the whole transceiver sets, the transceiver module circuits were designed, simulated and certification. At last, the transceiver front end is carried out based on the components above. The final system testing began cascading circuit of the module to meet the performance of the whole sets.This paper briefly introduced the fundamental theories for each functional module. With the ADS(Advanced Design System) software, the filter, LNA, mixer, PA, VCO are designed. The test result shows that the components can meet the requirement of the front system.
