With the development of applications on the network, website updating andmaintenance work have to spend a lot of manpower and material resources, especiallywhen the website reforms, optimization and integration of web resources workbecome more complex and time-consuming, how to solve the website system useralways at a high cost, low efficiency of continuously upgrade the problem, contentmanagement system provides a feasible solution. Content management can simplifythe complexity of establishment and management of the website as well as realize theseparation of content management and design. Page design is stored in the template, and the content is stored in a database or a separate file. When a user requests thepage, the system generates a standard HTML page. The processes of design andrealization of a general web content management system is discussed in this paper. This paper firstly discusses the basic content and content management, a detaileddescription of the general content management system UCMS (Universal ContentManagement System) requirement and business process is given, the runningenvironment of system and the system’s functional requirements is also given. Then the detailed design of the UCMS general functional structure, database logicmodel and the core database table definition, then the thesis discussed theimplementation process of UCMS, describes the production of the routing function, template function template tag technology, dynamic, template description, pagetechnology, sticker technology, application structure and implementation method ofkey functions of the system finally, the description of UCMS in the websiteconstruction in sports college.Universal content management system in strict accordance with the softwaredevelopment process, from the system requirements analysis, system design to systemimplementation are given a detailed implementation process, and finally to build anefficient, maintainable, reusable and flexible content management system. Thecontent management system, compared with the existing CMS system, has obviousadvantages: the content of the page based control, the operation and management ofincome; dynamic data model, easily add a custom module management; to achieve aflexible access permission control; can add a variety of features and plug-ins.
