Because many types of electronic equipment are used in the modern communication, theelectromagnetic signals will be very dense, and form an extra complicated electromagneticenvironment. The complex electromagnetic environment can be researched by the method ofsimulation to a certain extent. In shot, it can be simulated by construction of complexelectromagnetic environment equipment to achieve the objective of the study.To build a complex electromagnetic environment, in a certain space achieve variety ofsignals within the dense coverage. This paper mainly researches the design of complexelectromagnetic environment system base on DUC. Firstly, this paper introduces the designidea of Software Radio and correlative theory, such as digital generation of signals. Principleand structure of CORDIC algorithm is introduced. Then, the whole design scheme isintroduced, and the chips are chosen by the design scheme and briefly introduced. Accordingto the needs of the system, determine the composition and hardware diagram of the system.And describe respectively from the node network based on RS485bus and system controlsoftware. Then, for making good use of hardware resources and reducing the cost of buildingcomplex electromagnetic environment, put forward a concept of multi-signal simulationwhich is based on time division multiplexing, can realize a variety of signal on single terminal,which is time-divided. The FPGA control AD9857chip and generate the single-frequencysignal, AM, FM and2ASK signal. Finally, have completed the system work of debugging andverification, and proposed some further method for improving the systems. This paperhighlights the research of hardware and software design of the complex electromagneticenvironment.This design takes full advantage of the design features and wave function of DUC,ultimately achieves the AM, FM and2ASK signal output. While several signals is processedby the digital upward frequency conversion, and transmitted by the antenna, you can achievea variety of signal covered effectively within a certain range and form a simulated complexelectromagnetic environment while tested by signal monitoring equipments.
