With the un-stopping development of wireless communication, microelectronictechnology and computer science, Wireless Sensor Network has been achieving newmilestones one by one. The Wireless Sensor Network has been used for datacollection, data transmission and data analysis. It comprises a large amount of nodesspreading across the sensor, which are normally small in size and cheap in price.Through wireless communication, those sensor nodes would build up a huge network, which is what we normally called “Wireless Sensor Network”. People are convincedthat Wireless Sensor Network will changing the world as a result of its significantinfluence on the modern technology and its broader use in the foreseeable future.Battery, the main source from which the nodes of sensor normally get energy,is not an advanced way for energy supply though. Because batteries can only carrylimited energy at one time while it is difficult to charge as well. As a result of this, itis very important to consider how to reduce the energy consumption when sensornetwork is running properly. To be summarized further, the energy usage or theefficiency of energy consumption in the other word has significant impact on theperformance of wireless sensor network. The best of the best design would bekeeping the energy consumption to the lowest level, but achieving the highest level ofperformance. The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:1、this paper analyzes the error control technology measure;2、The Chase with HEC technology was proposed;3、Energy efficiency analysis was conducted on three error control technologiesincluding the forward error correction technology, the automatic repeat questtechnology, and the Chase with HEC technology;4、Energy efficiency of the three error control technologies was simulated andcompared using the matlab software, concluding that the Chase with HEC technology was the best way to control errors in the wireless sensor network.
