With the extensive application of the rapid development of mobile Internet andPDA phones, people’s attention shifted from the PC client side to the mobile clientgradually. What the users expect to get is not only the exchange of information andinteraction through QQ, MSN, mobile flying letters,“wechat” and the other InstantMessaging, but also want it to be more immediate, more convenient and moreeffective. At this time,“wechat” comes, and it received good feedback from themarket. Its users have already exceeded the600million within only three years,which has already overcome both the main platform of the traditional instant messagesoftware, and the mobile terminals such as “miliao”,”flying letters” and other mobiledevices on the market. Therefore, the study of “wechat” has important practicalsignificance.This paper aims to study on “wechat” which develops rapidly as an instantcommunications software from the perspective of communication. At first, Isummarize up the background and development status at home and abroad, then weanalyzed the features of “wechat”.At last we find the patterns of “wechat”,based onthe previous mode of propagation and the features of “wechat”. From the micro–level,we found that it’s easy for the information to break off and relationship isimportant in the pattern. We also find that feedback have an effect on the tendency ofthe communicators. At the macro level, we found the information communication hasdifferent communicators and the relationship is stability in the pattern. Personalinformation gradually weakened in the process of communication.Establish communication mode is the main contribution of this paper. Besidesthis paper analysis these modes with the combination of the modes propagationcharacteristics.The further destination of this paper is to analysis of the development trend ofsocial media communications in the future. Finally, we hope that after analyzing“wechat” we can discover the current market needs. Social communication tools will be combined with practicality and ease of use. User-friendly design and experiencewill be valued by the users.
