Design And Realization Of Instant Communication Software Based On Java

With the increasing of Internet and computer user, the requirement of communication on internet increases fleetly too. This makes IM (instant message) software very popular. Because of the functions becomes so strong, IM software is not only a tool that people use to communicate with each other, but also a software that people use it to play games, read news, join a community, share files, trade, and order program on line.After researching the existing IM productions and reading a lot of reference books, I consider that those productions have their own problems and limitations. So, to develop a IM software being dead against those problems and limitations, can make IM products more popular, also has its big economic and social benefit.This article has five part: the first chapter introduces the background of thesis and its purport; the second chapter introduces P2P technology; the third chapter introduces the JXTA platform; the forth chapter introduces the requirement analysis of IM software; the fifth chapter introduces the design and implement of a IM software that based on JXTA platform.The major work and innovation are list below: I have introduced P2P technology, including its definition, phylogeny, model, sort, character, and its trend of development; introduced the key protocol of JXTA which was developed by SUN Co., researched how to implement the publishing, finding, and communicating between peers, researched the functions of Easy Entry Library of JXTA, designed and implemented the function module of the system. I have used some new technologies such as JXTA, EZEL and P2P and hope to provide some new way on developing IM software to the reader of this article.
