Nowadays, because of the characteristics of the Internet, information coverswidely and spreads quickly. The Internet with profound influences is inseparable withpeople’s daily life, and it is an important way for people to obtain information. Theworld has become the era of the network，moreover, the appearances of words like“the global village” are all due to the rapid development and popularization of theInternet. If someone asks which kind of media has the most extensive and deepimpact on the whole world’s political, economic, cultural aspects and so on, then it’sno doubt that the answer is the Internet.With the improvement of the overall level of the Xinjiang Internet, there haveappeared numerous websites of various national languages, one of which is theKazakh language website. As early as1998, the first Kazakh language website hasshown up, till now it has been sixteen years. Although we can not say Kazakhlanguage website has been developed into a certain high level, all in all, the Kazakhlanguage website is constantly developing. Today, among the important channels,which help Kazakh nationality to acquire relevant information and understand theworld, the Kazakh language website is absolutely the necessary one. However,compared with other national language websites in Xinjiang, especially with Uyghurlanguage websites, the number of Kazakh language website is less and theclassification of it is also less, thus, its development is far from enough.The Kazakh language website is the common result of the development of theInternet in Xinjiang and the development of Xinjiang Kazakh people’s social liveKazakh language network is a significant part of Xinjiang ethnic journalism. Thisthesis attempts to study The Kazakh language websites’ number, classification andcontent by approaching and using statistics, and then figures out the basic situation ofthe Kazakh language website. Through summarizing and classifying the Kazakhlanguage website, this thesis classifies it into the government website, news media website, educational website and personal website, and analyzes all types ofKazakh language websites’ content, layout of a printed sheet, in addition, it aims tofind out the existed problems and offers effective suggestions toward these problems.
